Amazing God-made moments, is my simple way of saying – WOW GOD! Apart from God you can do nothing, which leads to the other side of the story, the amazing things you CAN do with God! Well, this might sound like a shameless plug for Arborvitae (and it kind of is!!), but I keep thinking about our worship community and all of the visions and details of how God is bringing Harrison's vision for a mid-week worship gathering together with the Arborvitae vision of being a safe home for the "seeking" heart! Our community is so passionate about Jesus, each other, and those who have given up on "church", that I can't help but think about God looking down on us with a huge smile on his face...I know much more fruit is on its way!
ReplyDeleteWell I love this verse b/c it is solid "proof" of how God affects my life. I know from experience that I do not naturally bear healthy, fun, yummy fruit. But, when I let God into my life suddenly my fruit looks all shiney and nutritious. I remember I used to have trouble even being nice to the check-out clerk at the grocery store. Now even chit-chat with a smile as I wait comes easily. Gueass good fruit brings real joy too. -Amy
